You'll learn all the basics: how to knit, purl, put stitches on your needle (cast on), finish up (cast off), change yarn in the middle of your project, weave in your ends, and how to read a ball band as well as a basic pattern. You should be able to make a scarf in this class (get ready to spend a few hours of down time working on your knitting in front of the TV). Class consists of 2 sessions over 2 weeks. trouble-shooting class is a great way to build your knitterly
confidence. Here you will not only learn to identify several of the
common errors that stop knitters in their tracks, but also how to

can make or break a beautiful hand-knit, so let us show you how to do
it properly. You will learn a variety of techniques, including
mattress stitch seaming, sewing a sleeve into place, three-needle
bind offs, grafting (kitchener stitch), picking up stitches for
button bands and necklines, as well as the mysterious proportions
that take the guesswork out of many of these procedures. We encourage
