The addi Lace Click system provides 8 pairs of addi Lace tips (US 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, or metric 3.5, 3.75, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, ad 8mm) along with 5 blue addi cords which create 16”, 20”, 24”, 32”, and 40” needles (approximate lengths), 1 Click connector, and a gold addi heart pin. The Lace Click tips were created to be shorter in length, to allow for both 16” and 20” applications (you can use them for hats and necks!). The Click tips require no tools to change; simply insert the cord deep into the tip, twist and release. The tips will remain secure until you change them. If you love addi Turbo Lace needles, this interchangeable set is the way to go. Have all the needles you need in one convenient carrying case. The Lace Click set is also now nickel plated, like the regular set. The 24”, 32”, and 40” cords will work with other turbo sets, but the 16”, 20” will only work smoothly with the Lace Click needles.

Holiday Diversions - Free Fingerless Mitties

It's not really a try last minute gift, but this is what I have been thinking about lately ..... fingerless gloves/mitts/gauntlets (whatever they are called). It's more of a "keep yourself occupied over the holiday" kind of theme. Plus, the mitties are a project which travel well.

If you have problems with the DPNs on the move, you can try a few other alternatives, including knitting with 2 circular needles, the magic loop technique using 1 long circular needle, or picking up a pair of really short circulars (addi makes 12cm circs ad clover makes 9cm circs). If you have the DPNs keep them around to finish the thumb (if applicable)

Oh, and included below is a slew of different skill levels, ranging from Absolute Beginner to Intermediate, but they are organized in order of prettiness of pictures.

Toasty Mitts

Skill Level Intermediate-Beginner: knit in the round, follow a pattern, pick up stitches.
