BEGINNER - Scarf:
Wednesday Sept 22 & 29, 6-8pm (4 hours total)
For Absolute Beginners.
Kit: "entry level scarf". worsted weight yarn, 5mm needles.
Learn to cast on stitches, knit, purl, cast off.
Total cost for class $40 & class kit $25 (yarn and needles included)

BEGINNER REVIEW - Fancy Scarf:
Wednesday Oct 6 & 13, 3-7:30pm (3 hours total)
For people who need a review, but have knitted before.
Kit: "Dropped stitch scarf". worsted weight yarn, 5mm needles.
Review casting on, knitting, purling, casting off, and learn how to use dropped stitches
for decorative effect.
Total cost for class $30 & class kit $29 (5mm needles not included)

CIRCULAR NEEDLES - Ponchos & Capelets:
Sunday Sept 26 & Oct 3, 11-1pm (4 hours total)
Prerequisites: must be proficient at casting on, casting off, knitting and purling.
Kit: any Knitomaitc poncho or capelet kit, adult or child.
Learn how to use circular needles, how to use stitch markers, increase, read a basic pattern, very basic finishing skills (blocking & weaving in ends).
Total cost for class $40 & class kit TBA

DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES – Hats:
Sunday Oct 10 & 17, 11-1pm (4 hours total)
Prerequisites: must be proficient at casting on, knitting and purling.
Kit: any basic hat kit that does not involve changing colours in the middle of a row, adult or child.
Learn how to work in the round with double pointed needles, decrease, read a basic pattern, very basic finishing skills (blocking, weaving in ends, other).

the weather is too warm to think about wool, but if you're looking for the last hurrah of summer i've still got a few summer poncho kits kicking around on SALE. :-) Rowan cotton tape, Rowan Cotton Braid and Needful Mombasa. they can also be made into Capelets - the current fashion frenzy.
